Use your phone, a borrowed phone, desk phone, or basic handset. No app or data is needed.
2. Say the request
Say "police", "ambulance", "fire", or the name of a registered person.
3. Get routed
Void searches the directory and connects the call when it can resolve the right contact.

The app adds location-aware emergency access, internet calling, emergency contacts, Traveler Mode, Safety Check-ins, and privacy controls. The ordinary Void number remains available without the app.
